Starting NUX Group was exactly the challenge I was looking for. It brings together international trade, a healthy and sustainable soft commodity, and a global market whose appetite for peanuts and nuts keeps growing every year. After more than 35 years in international business and building companies, this is a perfect fit. Doing it together with Tim makes it even more fun.

My background in M&A and investing in early-stage companies taught me to look at a business critically, focus on the numbers and spot growth opportunities early. Now I get to put all of that into building our own company. Combined with Jack's experience in international trade, we make a unique and strong team.

Jos brings decades of experience in international commodity trading, with more than 20 years focus on nuts, peanuts and snack ingredients. He has held senior roles in procurement, trading and general management, combining commercial expertise with sourcing, risk management and supply chain experience across Europe, South America, Asia and Africa.
Food Safety & Quality
Tjasse-Pieter supports NUX Group on food safety and quality, from supplier approval and specifications to testing and release. With nearly 20 years of experience in the nut industry, he brings deep expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance and supplier development across Europe, Africa and Asia.
